a genre im just starting to get into, reading Steven Pressfield's novels on Ancient Greece, and thourougly enjoying, too Anyone else read any other good books in this genre? preferably more on ancient Rome or Greece, as i would like to read more

I've read a quite a few historical novels. I'd recommend Gore Vidals "Creation" and " Julian" both set in the ancient world.
Also Thomas Harlan's "Oath Of Empire" series; for a mix of Fantasy and Roman empire based plot.
Or if you like trashy fiction, Colleen McCulloghs novels all have a rome setting.
