Clarke Nominees Announced Organizers announced the finalists for the 2005 Arthur C. Clarke Award, given to the best SF novel published in Great Britain during the previous year. The winner will be announced in London on May 11. The award consists of an inscribed plaque in the form of a bookend and £2,005 ($3,800). River Of Gods is also a very good book. I have to say I do not truly know whether it or Iron Council deserves to win. River Of Gods is probably one of the best works of Cyberpunk fiction I have ever read, its up there with Neuromancer and Snow Crash. I would urge anyone that hasn't already to read it.
