Before anyone says, no I don't expect the librarians shushed him and said to keep the noise down ;D I am referring to the talk he gave the other day, along with J.C. Grimwood. Here's the info I got from Lambeth Libraries' Website: "Wednesday 25 May: Talking about science fiction Brixton Library. 7.30-9pm. China Mieville and Jon Courtenay Grimwood talk about science fiction. These are two of the most interesting people in the field of science fiction/fantasy today. China is the author of four novels and is the winner of the Arthur C Clarke, British Science Fiction and British Fantasy Awards. Jon is the author of six novels and his latest, Stamping Butterflies was published in 2004." I'm actually a little bit disappointed that I missed this - I only found out about it tonight, and Brixton is really near me as well!! Did anyone here manage to go? Its a pity nobody recorded it, but I suppose that's an unrealistic idea..
