I liked it.
But, in the end, it didn't grip me the way that PSS or the Scar did. I can't quite put my finger on why though...

Loved it like I do all his stuff. I'm a fairly right-wing kinda guy, but the Socialist overtones were badass. Overall, I'll have to say I liked The Scar the best, but the golem shit in IC really grabbed me.

To be honest, I prefer his other works.
I liked Ori's sections, and the trail-blazing vibe on the railroad, but I did not really take to the characters of Judah and Cutter as I did the likes of Isaac, Yag, Bellis, Tanner..
Its still a good book though

Hi
Absolutely dreadful novel - after the superb PSS & Scar I waited months for this book to come out in paperback. Why CM changed his writing style to this quirky prose is beyond me. By page 260 I realised that nothing much was happening plot wise - I binned the book.
