Howdy from Alaska!
I just discovered CM's books while book sitting for a fellow college student in June. He needed to stash them until he found a place to call home, and invited me to read anything I wanted.
I read PSS first, and was enthalled. I followed with The Scar and IC-all in order. Of the Bas Lag books, the Scar is my favorite.
While vacationing in Kodiak, I bought King Rat and devoured it. I have not got my hooks into the Tain, yet-but I will.
I am a non-trad college student-being 32, enrolled in Bible College. I also consider myself a non-traditional Christian, at least in the sense of the last few centuries of the faith. Example- I cannot stand most music that passes itself off as Christian, because the music sucks and the lyrics are trite.
But then, my mom always said that I was a strange child...

This is maybe the wrong board for it, but here's an odd question. Anyone have a theory about CM's minimal web presence? I had to dig for this site, his PanMac site is archived, and none of the various fora that he's touched on in the past (TTA, NightShade) have been update in years. I'm a big fan of author presence on the internet, and wish Brother China would increase his. Probably just wishful thinking. For such a popular series, there just isn't much online activity.
